Highlights
Gorge Walking is a great way to explore off the beaten track, it involves wading in the water and scrambling up (or down) waterfalls! Our local gorges are Hell Gill, Mill Gill, and Arn Gill. Each gorge is very different and each has its own challenges. We can change the venue to suit the conditions or if you’ve done one gorge come back another day to try a different one. Gorge Walking is great for developing team skills and resilience and just having fun! You look for fossils and explore the gorge environment or you want to just get really wet and have an adventure. All under the careful supervision of Low Mill Instructors. Suitable for children over the age of 9, Under 18-year-olds must be accompanied by an adult.
Itinerary
We can meet you at Low Mill Outdoor Centre where you will be issued with all the equipment you need for the session, or by arrangement, we can meet you at the venue. You will just need a full change of clothing suitable for the conditions and any personal medication. This is a wet adventure!
