A Morning exploring Windermere from water level.  Canoes are a fantastic way to explore the lake: nothing is simpler, quieter, or more connected to every ripple and gust. 

 Canoeing is easy to get started and addictive to learn.  

Please make no mistake; this is an entry drug; people who have come canoeing for the day with us have ended up paddling all the way across Scotland and are signed up for a weeks river expedition this year!  There is a high risk of loving it.

Get the canoes from the trailer to the water
Set the canoes up for the conditions
A quick paddle intro
A chance to practice taking control of your boat
And then off ... exploring the South of the Lake, the meanders, the reeds, and paddling alongside the steam train.
